British Book Design and Production Awards 2025

The 2025 British Book Design and Production Awards were held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London on Tuesday 14 April 2026. A total of 101 beautiful books were shortlisted, and the evening celebrated an array of winners across 19 categories, displaying the best in books produced, designed and published in 2025. The highly sought after award, The Book of the Year was won by Beowulf (The Morris Edition) published by Books Ilustrated.

A number of supporters and sponsors make the Awards possible: BookMachine, Canon, Diamond Print Services, Sappi, Northend, Muller Martini, Oxford Brookes University, Printing Charity, The Bookseller and Winter and Company.

The evening was hosted for the third time by Anita Mangan, an accomplished designer and illustrator of nearly 100 books, including her own titles Bingo: An Illustrated Guide to Bingo Lingo and The Chinese Zodiac: A Seriously Silly Guide.
