Bestseller Awards January 2025

Nielsen BookData, in partnership with BolognaBookPlus, celebrated the annual Bestseller Awards on 20 January 2025 at the Ham Yard Hotel in London’s West End.

The Bestseller Awards, which were presented by Rebecca Jones, former BBC arts correspondent and chief news presenter, are the only awards based on UK volume sales data, recognizing all-time sales across print and ebook formats. The awards honour the authors whose books have sold more than 250,000 copies (Silver); more than 500,000 copies (Gold); and more than one million copies (Platinum). Among the authors recognized at the awards were Richard Osman, Bonnie Garmus, Julia Donaldson and Stanley Tucci.

In the Dissertation Showcase Award, three students from the Oxford International Centre for Publishing were recognized for the quality of their research projects: Richard Woolley, Helen Zeineh and Beth Pouncett. Richard received his award from David Nicholls, author of the bestselling One Day.
