Beverley Tarquini joined Oxford Brookes on a permanent basis in 2006 after several years of freelance teaching as an Associate Lecturer and has many years of experience in the publishing industry in both sales and editorial roles. She has been involved in selling and publishing for a variety of markets and subject areas, ranging from educational publications for schools, further and higher education to academic monographs and reference and trade titles.

Beverley's teaching focuses on editorial, new product development and rights modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and her future research will include looking at specific aspects of educational and academic publishing and also employability. She continues to work as a freelance editor for several publishers. She is jointly responsible for work experience placements for publishing students.
