Philip Shaw

Associate Lecturer in Publishing

Philip Shaw lectures on the commercial and financial aspects of publishing. After graduating in history from the University of Cambridge, Philip obtained an MBA from Cranfield University. He has worked for thirty years in educational and academic publishing, holding senior marketing and publishing management positions in the Reed Elsevier and Hachette groups in the UK and the USA.

Philip is also an Associate with Bertoli Mitchell LLP, advisors to publishing companies on mergers and acquisitions, strategy and the commercial exploitation and valuation of intellectual property assets.
