David Attwooll runs a publishing consultancy and digital licensing agency, Attwooll Associates Ltd (www.attwoollassociates.com). Prior to that he founded in 1992 Helicon Publishing, a reference database business, which was floated on the AIM stock market and before being sold to WHSmith, and then RM plc.

His previous jobs included Managing Director of Random House UK’s Paperback and Reference Divisions, and Editorial Director of OUP’s Trade and Reference publishing.
