Reading Africa Conference attracts participants from throughout Africa and the UK
Over 50 writers, translators, publishers and librarians from twelve countries in Africa and from throughout the UK met at Headington Hill Hall on Saturday 30th October. With sessions focusing on different aspects of the development of readership for African literature, the meeting was organised by SABDET (Southern African Book Development Education Trust) and OICPS (Oxford International Centre for Publishing Studies) as part of the Reading Africa programme.
