British Book Design and Production Awards 2004
We are pleased to advise you that the BPIF, The Publishers Association and Oxford Brookes University are again organising the British Book Design and Production Awards. The awards are unique in the industry in that they are based solely on the design and production qualities of each book ie paper, printing, binding, typeface and so on. The deadline for entries is Friday 25 June 2004 and books published in 2003 and 2004 up to the deadline are eligible for entry. Some minor changes have been made to category titles to clarify category selection. Please note this year we are introducing a new category Best Book UK Printed and Bound which must meet the UK manufactured criterion. Please support this new category and give a high profile to books manufactured in Britain. The judging will take place at the end of July with the Awards Dinner being held at The Brewery in London on Tuesday 9 November 2004. The Awards are an excellent opportunity for your company to demonstrate its skills and quality as well as the celebration dinner which provides an excellent platform for entertaining friends and clients. The clock is ticking towards the deadline of Friday 25 June 2004 so please send in your entries now and join your colleagues from the book sector in celebrating “The Best in British Book Design and Production”.
