Oxford Brookes Arts MA Students present ‘The Mobile Edge’ at OVADA

Students graduating from the MA Interdisciplinary Arts Programme at Oxford Brookes University this year, will be presenting their work at The Mobile Edge Festival in the OVADA gallery in Gloucester Green, the Jacqueline du Pre Building at St Hilda’s College, and in locations around Oxford in October.

The festival will feature students completing one of three MA’s: Composition and Sonic Art, Contemporary Arts and Music and Social Sculpture.

Richard Layzell, performance artist and tutor on the Interdisciplinary Arts MA programme commented on what can be discovered at the festival:

"The road to certain freedom. The meeting of light and space. The sound of history. The plane of research and interaction. The Mobile Edge awaits you."

The Mobile Edge Festival will be taking place as follows:

  • Exhibition at OVADA gallery, Gloucester Green: 2nd – 24th October.
  • Festival Events throughout the city: 2nd – 5th October.
  • Concert Event at the Jacqueline Du Pre Music Building, St Hilda’s College: 5th October
