Sanphy Thomas

Sanphy is Managing Director of Jessica Kingsley Publishers and Director of Specialist Publishing for John Murray Press where she oversees the global publishing strategy for Sheldon Press, Nicholas Brealey Publishing, Hodder Faith and John Murray Languages. She joined JKP in 2018, during which time the publisher twice won Academic, Educational and Professional Publisher of the Year at the British Book Awards (2020 and 2022). Prior to working at Hachette, Sanphy had a career in academic and professional marketing, having worked at SAGE, Macmillan, Taylor & Francis and Blackwell Publishing. She is an alumna of OICP.
