Jasmine Richards

Jasmine Richards has a deep connection to Oxford and read English Literature at Lady Margaret Hall in the early noughties.  She is the author of over 15 books for children including the middle-grade novel The Unmorrow Curse being published in 2022 and Aziza’s Secret Fairy Door series published under a pen name. She is a former publisher who has worked at Puffin and OUP children’s books and she has edited hundreds of books. Jasmine is also the founder of Storymix: a children’s book packager that creates stories with inclusive casts of characters. All children, regardless of background, get to be the heroes in these stories. She is also passionate about creating pathways into publishing for writers, illustrators and editors from Black and minority ethnic backgrounds.
