The course encourages a problem-solving approach while focusing on the key tasks: assessment; contracts and estimating; communication; planning; briefing copyeditors, proofreaders, illustrators, designers, picture researchers, indexers and typesetters; keeping within budgets and schedules; giving feedback; managing the handover; and planning your next move.
