Creative Entrepreneurship

Creative Entrepreneurship is an exciting and innovative course for anyone who wants to learn how bringing together creative, digital and entrepreneurial skills will make a real difference to their job and ensure greater success in the publishing world. The three-day residential course will be led by expert publishing staff from OICPS together with a group of inspirational industry speakers who will challenge mindsets, help generate new ideas and explore new ways of thinking that can be directly applied in the work place. Be open to new ideas, learn from other media, think in new ways about new products and ensure your opinions get heard, so that your great ideas see the light of day.

Run in January 2014 under the title ‘Fusion Workshop’, this course had fabulous testimonials by the delegates and is back by popular demand.

“I thought the course was fantastic – one of the best I’ve ever been on.  Very inspirational and interesting.  I can’t rave enough about how great this course was.  Far exceeded my expectations…please run it again, as soon as possible, because I want to send my entire team on it”. Astrid deRidder, Content Development Manager, Cambridge University Press

Audience: Publishers from any part of the industry who want to adopt best practice from other media industries and improve their creative, digital and business skills

The course will help inspire new ideas and new ways of thinking that can be directly applied in the workplace.  In the evenings, delegates will work on a born digital project and, on the final day, delegates’ managers are warmly welcomed to join the course to find out about some of the exciting things that have been learned and to hear the presentations.
