Taking Place: John Radcliffe Hospital, Academic Block, Lecture Theatre 1 in Semester 2 2006

In this event organised by the Oxfordshire Arts and Health Network 4 artists talk about their work in health care settings. This is an open, drop in session between 10am and 3pm on Wednesday, 11 January.  All are welcome, and you can attend for just part of the event. Bring lunch with you, tea and coffee provided.

The programme is as follows:

10.00 - Coffee and Networking

10.15-10.30 - Marion Fiddes - Introducution

10.30-11.15 - Andrew Moor - An expert in the field of glass will talk about the use of glass within the therapeutic environment.

11.15-12.00 - Hugh DunfordWood - will speak about portrait painting in the healing environment.

12.00-1.00  - Coffee and networking

1.00-1.45 - Nick Lunch - A pioneer of Participatory Video. Nick will be showing some of his video work and talk about his plans to work with the OHAN.

1.45-2.30 - Miranda Creswell - Artist in Residence in the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Miranda will talk about her project People at Work and her experience of working in a hospital.

2.45-3.00 - Closing session
